Listing inventory declined to 17% compared to a year ago, but the average price per square foot has increased for all types of dwellings. Buyers remain willing to pay more than list price and/or appraisal prices in order to win the race to purchase the property.  Many buyers are foregoing safety nets without contingencies of inspections and or appraisals. In this market, it is more important than ever to hire a professional realtor on your side representing your best interests.
